The pink flowers of Hardy Begonia are a pretty decoration in salad or – sugared- on confectionery. They have a lemony flavour. The yellow stamens of the male flower or the stamps of the female flowers taste sour-sweet.

I have this specimen from the Frankfurt Botanical Garden, where these beautiful flowers grow like a small, pretty carpet in the Japanese garden area.
