The smaller, thin-peeled fruits of Meyer lemon, a hybrid between lemon (C. × limon) and orange (C. sinensis) or mandarin (C. reticulata), taste very intense and are not as sour as many other varieties. At the same time, they are very juicy. Due to these characteristics, it is not undeservedly considered the best of all lemon varieties. Unfortunately, due to its thin golden peel, from which a good aromatic oil can also be extracted, it is not well transportable and hardly available on the market.
The fragrant blossoms of the Meyer lemon are also a special feature, as they are with a purple base.
