The Baby Boo pumpkin is hardly bigger than an apple. The firm skin is white, the firm flesh rather cream-coloured to pale orange. It tastes nutty and slightly sweet and also has a texture reminiscent of chestnuts after cooking. A really delicious little pumpkin that can be stuffed and baked and tastes good both savoury and prepared as a sweet dessert. In addition, it can be stored for a long time and the plant yields abundantly. The variety was first bred in Pennsylvania in 1990. Because of its white colour, it is often used as an autumnal decoration.
